School Admissions Criteria
We welcome children from all sections of the community and from Christian and non-Christian faiths. In the event that we have more applications than places available the following criteria will be applied in the order given.
Preference will be given to:
- Children with a brother or sister currently in attendance at school.
- Children whose parent(s) are employees of the school.
- Children whose normal place of residence is closer to the school than any other primary school.
- Children whose brother/sister or parent attended the school.
- Children with special circumstances. (Governors will decide on the merit of individual applications.)
- Children who are the eldest in their family.
- Children who live closest to the school as measured by walking distance from the front door of child's house to the mid-point of the school gate.
