A visit from the Dairy Council

Northern Ireland

The P. 6 and P. 7 pupils were treated to a visit from the Dairy Council Northern Ireland on Thursday the 24th November.  They were given the opportunity to learn more about a healthy lifestyle thanks to the launch of this year's Dairy Council 'Food and Fitness' roadshow.

The programme, which is targeted at key stage 2 pupils, focused on educating the children about the importance of a balanced diet and exercise in a fun and interactive way. They enjoyed games, singing, rapping and quizzes.  If you would like some more information about a healthy lifestyle, recipes, tips and the Dairy Council, check out their website at www.dairycouncil.co.uk
