Absence

 

If your child is absent from school due to illness please send a letter of explanation on their return.

Should the illness be of a more serious or infectious nature we would appreciate a telephone call as soon as you are able.

Any other absence requests should be made in writing to the class teacher.

 

 

 

Illness or Accidents In School

 

The school has qualified first aiders who will attend to minor illnesses and accidents during the school day.

 

If it is felt that further attention is required, we will contact you so that you may take him/her home or to the doctor/ minor injuries unit as appropriate.

 

Should we have any concerns we will, of course contact home.

 

It is vitally important that parents keep us informed of any changes to contact numbers, mobile phones etc. so that we are able to reach a responsible person in case of emergency.
