Making sandwiches.

 

Primary 4 enjoyed making their own sandwiches. 

 

They were able to choose their type of bread (brown or white) and filling (ham, cheese or tuna).  Some of them ate their sandwich for their lunch.  No excuses now – they can make their own packed lunch for school!

 

Later they wrote instructions on how to make a sandwich.  We also talked about how a sandwich is a healthy option.  Look below to read our instructions for Making A Sandwich.

How to make a ham and cheese sandwich by Poppy.

What you need:

Ingredients                                                      Equipment

Two slices of bread                                             Knife

Butter                                                                 Chopping board or plate

Ham

Cheese

What you do:

  1. Wash your hands.
  2. Set the bread on your chopping board or plate.
  3. Get the butter and spread it lightly across the bread.
  4. Put your ham and cheese in.
  5. Then you put you other slice of bread on top of the other slice.
  6. Cut up your sandwich and then you can eat it. ENJOY!!

 

How to make a tuna sandwich by Jenny.

What you need:

Ingredients                                                          Equipment

2 slices of bread                                                   knife

Butter                                                                   plate

Tuna

 

What you do:

  1. Wash your hands.
  2. Lay the bread side by side.
  3. Spread the butter on the bread lightly.
  4. Put the tuna on the bread.
  5. Put the other piece of bread on top.
  6. Cut the bread in half.
